Geek99
Not just me… the house band at my local jam night are so far ahead of me that they are in another galaxy, play anything, any key, swap instruments etc they just did “ Africa” and it wrecked. It was like I was up there update… they just did it again. 2

Geek99
The bass player has a single cut six string fretless and he’s ridiculously talented. He told me once he practices 20 hours of every week.
Geek99
Going to suggest “in the midnight hour” as a) a homage to duck Dunn b) we have a lady saxophonist so the horn parts are do-able c) I absolutely love that tune and it’s the first one I figured out by ear so it’s a huge proud moment for someone as talentless as I am I spoke to the ridiculously talented keyboard player who happens to be the brother of the ridiculously talented bass player about a full-on blues jam next time if anyone has any killer blues jam endings please let me know (the climbing up the neck to the dusty end eighth note pluck-fest type of thing)
Burns-bass
I’ve been to jam nights with killer players and 9 times out of 10, they’re lovely people. The best part about a band like that is they’ll make you sound good and work to keep the song going. When you play a song you know you’ll absolutely storm it. Geek99
He doesn’t have kids or a house with a diy mountain. I might get 20 hours in over a period of two years
Geek99
They’re nice people i said to the keys player last night “ when I come here and see you guys play, I know just how far I still have to go” thinking maybe “in the midnight hour” as my debut.
