Hi all,

Im a self taught female Bassist whose also played guitar, drums and keys in the past.

I've been in 3 bands but only played bass in one. Had a long run of 7 yrs playing covers then covid hit but now looking for a band.

It helps though

I just use grenades @SpondonBassed

I live next to a school so the use of military hardware is fully justified

seriously though @Suezee what bass are you playing most right now and what genre do you most enjoy ?

To be honest my blue sparkle Sterling Ray 34 sounds as good as my Musicman Ray34. The maple fretboard produces such a lovely tone so I guess it's my favourite.

Genre is a tough one. I probably lean more towards indie rock light rock.

Are you sure you've read the site terms and conditions correctly?

Yes I read them. Not been abusive, haven't advertised anything or tried to sell buy or market anything. Used my own info and genuine. What have I done wrong?

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

It was my idea of a joke in response to Geek99's post saying "you don't have to be a grumpy old man on this site", and nothing to do with you joining.

The welcome was incidental. 😁

Welcome aboard!

You'll get used to the feeble attempts at humour. Or they will drive you mad and you'll go senile and join in. That's what happened to me.

It could be worse:  visit Talkbass where their idea of humour is to not actually light the flamethrower.

You were already senile, though possibly not yet mad, when you joined

I just read that Hampshire was the birthplace of modern fly fishing , birdwatching , and wind surfing.

welcome aboard
