SpondonBassed Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 Welcome Suezee. (Rotten kids! Playing on my lawn again! Whipper-snappers! Grumble grumble mutter mutter expletive etc.) 1 Quote
Geek99 Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 It helps though I just use grenades @SpondonBassed I live next to a school so the use of military hardware is fully justified seriously though @Suezee what bass are you playing most right now and what genre do you most enjoy ? Quote
Suezee Posted June 13, 2024 Author Posted June 13, 2024 To be honest my blue sparkle Sterling Ray 34 sounds as good as my Musicman Ray34. The maple fretboard produces such a lovely tone so I guess it's my favourite. Genre is a tough one. I probably lean more towards indie rock light rock. Quote

It was my idea of a joke in response to Geek99's post saying "you don't have to be a grumpy old man on this site", and nothing to do with you joining. The welcome was incidental. 😁 Quote
Richard R Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Welcome aboard! You'll get used to the feeble attempts at humour. Or they will drive you mad and you'll go senile and join in. That's what happened to me. It could be worse: visit Talkbass where their idea of humour is to not actually light the flamethrower. 1 Quote

You were already senile, though possibly not yet mad, when you joined Quote
