The clue is in the number of strawberries/cherries and their arrangement. It’s a very good hint.

Yeah, that’s what I thought too until this came along. It has already replaced a staple from my “board”.

The fruits are laid out to represent the Bit rate? I know very little of bit crushers other then the OTO biscuit plug in I messed with and that’s all I can come up with.

Yes:

24Bit

16 Bit

8 Bit

4 Bit

2 Bit

1 Bit

Obviously it could mean something else, but a bit crusher seems obvious.

Also Bits are not measured in Rate, that is Sample Rate, but in Depth.

Usually you will have a parameter for controlling Sample Rate too though on a bit crusher.

Almost; the strawberries are in a binary sequence (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32); the cherries are also in a binary sequence but obviously have some bits missing…

One more sleep...

Must be pretty entertaining for @Quatschmacher to watch our speculation while he incubates the new egg!

Indeed. I’ve been having a lot of fun with it today, especially now a bunch of bugs I found have been squashed.

Also been tweaking my factory patch to add in some more stuff now that certain functions are working. Unfortunately it’s too late to include the additions as some descriptive literature has already been done, however, I’ll upload it to Neuro as soon as the pedal is active on there.

Can’t wait to share a few clips tomorrow.

Space echo up to Low-fi tape saturation, with an envelope filter like filter like the shallow water … that’s my guess

Seeing all those 'Dead Tapes', you might be on to something...

If I knew any grateful dead there might be a clue in some of the sounds they get but I’m completely ignorant to them.

shakedown street has a very distinctive envelope filter on the lead.
