It's so bizarre to me, as Sei make some of the most beautiful instruments, yet their headstocks look like they are drawn with a toddlers left hand

I think that most designs covered here except for the old standard Fender.
 

C'mon then, show us some beautiful headstocks.....

The original Fender heatstock would have been considered fug ugly in the 50s.

Did no one mention that? I think it is a very ugly headstock, but it so generic now that noone notices it - if it came out today people would be ranting how bad it was. Especially the 70s one.

Not mine.

 

 

But I think this is reasonably good looking - I'm all for minimalist headstocks and there's very little surplus wood on this.
