paul h
Finally finished off my SX P rat bass! This is a combination of the neck off my first SX, which I butchered in a botched j pickup experiment, teamed with the cheapest fully loaded p bass body I could find on ebay. Things to note are the misaligned bridge, complete with the original holes where I had to move the bridge back to get it intonated properly. The badly fitting scratchplate and the insulation tape over the pole pieces to cut down on clank! None of that matters of course, because it sounds like this... Gotta love the cheap stuff! Paul. p.s. Recording with a dodgy lead....don't do it kids! paul h
IIRC....which I probably don't, Roberts Growlers! They have been on and off a few times and are a bit ropey but they still sound pretty good. FYI I went through my Zoom B2. I usually have the eq on it flat though and just use it to boost the signal.
