Hi all,

*****NOW SOLD******

Up for sale/trade my Fender JB-75 in lovely Natural finish.

Weight: 10.76 lbs / 4.8kg

Magnificent Jazz with upgraded Seymor Duncan SJB pickups and Gotoh Hardtail bridge in excellent condition with little signs of use, plays and sounds sublime. 70's reissue models come with the gorgeous block inlays and neck binding - bullet truss rod completes the look. Seventies-era Jazz Bass - does the Marcus Miller thing really well.

Tradewise, I am in the market for a Precision Bass (Ideally a Fender American Original 60s Precision Bass with Rosewood Fretboard in Olympic White) plus cash but open to offers

I can arrange courier at buyers cost (hardcase included at price shown) or can arrange pickup in North London or city

Any Qs just shout/PM - thanks for looking 🙂

Unusual to see the Japanese ones with 70s spacing. Most of the ones I’ve seen have 60s spacing, despite being a reissue of a 70s bass.

This is a Non Export model..

I was looking a while back and was surprised how many were around with 70’s spacing!

I almost tagged you when I saw this but remembered you were looking for USA versions. However, this one is likely as good if not better.

Fender Japan changed from '60s to '70s spacing on their '70s reissue Jazzes sometime in the late noughties (2007-2009ish). The serial number of this bass dates it as 2010-2011 so the pickup spacing is no surprise. I don't think it's got anything to do with export/non-export models - the '60s spacing on the '70s reissues is an anomaly that lasted from the 1980s to the late noughties and has now been corrected.

I had a 96 MIJ 75 ri and it had 70s spacing and was a Non Export.
