joe the bassist
Hey everybody. I've been looking to buy a bass cab. I've been drooling over orange and marshall cabs, but NO WAY do I have the money Can any one give me a link to a good, cheap cab. P.S-- I was looking to spend no more than about £450. I am low on the cash P.P.S-- I meant to add I was looking for both a cab and head. P.P.P.S--Our band plays thing like rage against the machine, and when i try to turn my amp up, they play louder too. the bassist needs to be heard too, right? lemmywinks
For that much you're pretty much into second hand, top of the line stuff. Give Alex on here a buzz about his cabs, they're no too far off you're budget Are you wanting traditional or light weight?

He's in Luton. You can find his info in the Basschat Affiliates forum. ie, Basschat.co.uk > Affiliates Forums > Basschat Affiliates > RIM Custom Basses

skankdelvar
As a matter of interest, what sort of music do you play, how loud is your band and what sort of head will you be putting through the cab? Do tell - this might seriously influence your choice of cab.
