Scoop Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 (edited) Warmoth SG - 2 x darkstars - Audere preamp I bought this last year, here... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...=warmoth+audere It's a lovely bass, very well put together and sounds fabulous - as you would expect from the electrics but I have one or two too many basses and with another two ACGs on order it's time to thin the herd. I carefully removed the Gibson decal shown in the link above and replaced it with a metallic "Warmoth" decal. The bass comes with a hard case. I'm based in Liverpool and collection is preferable or will deliver for petrol money within 50 miles. I've enjoyed having it but haven't gigged this one. Asking what I paid for it, £500. The electrics alone are worth close to that. Solid walnut body, rosewood neck, ziricote fretboard. Edited May 26, 2009 by Scoop

Scoop Posted May 22, 2009 Author Posted May 22, 2009 I can get it couriered to London for about £16 but this only has insurance to £150. If you can do better, dannybuoy I'll be happy to have it collected from me.
budget bassist Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 argh! I've GASed over this for ages! if only i could afford it!!!!!
Etienne Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 I had the pleasure of playing this beast earlier on this afternoon- those Darkstars are the beefiest-sounding pickups I've heard in ages! There's a huge range of usable tones available, using various combinations of the pickup blend, impedance switch and the 4-band EQ... somebody buy this ASAP!
