@skidder652003 yep! I'm in a doom band and it's great for a bit of atmosphere, or turn it on with fuzz and an octave +/- and you can make a huge wall of sound on your own.

Reverb works well with fuzz. Hear reverb also in Duffy's Mercy.

And yes, reverb stacked into a high gain distortion or fuzz makes a for a monstrous deep wall of sound, especially with chords, but I suppose very rarely of any use in classic pop and rock.

 

Also reverb (or a short delay low in the mix) is a very good idea for clean bass solos or melodic solo work, especially on fretless bass.

IE Nimbus. But sadly the sentence: "There are not many reverbs..." holds on IE, too.
