Alembic Europa bass early '90s w/ figured maple top // €3.650 £123456 Netherlands

For sale is my beautiful Alembic Europa from the early ’90s. The bass is in very good condition.

 

Everything works like it should and the neck plays great with a very low action. The neck is straight and well adjustable, frets are still good too.This bass has a broad range of sounds with it’s 2 pickups, eq and filter controls.

Weight is 4,45kg on my kitchen scale. Balance is good, it’s ergonomically a comfortable instrument.

A softcase is included in the sale. Not sure if it came originally with the bass. I've been told it is by the previous owner, but it's not branded.

It’s a fantastic bass, but other type basses fit my needs better.

I am located in the Netherlands, so probably EU offerings will be the only ones that are interesting.

Absolute bargain. I have a 5er version and they're cracking basses. Sometimes described as an 'acquired taste' - I can't imagine why - they play beautifully from the first playing.

String spacing 19mm

Absolute bargain IMO, for one of the less ergonomically challenging Alembics. I suspect that this would be snapped up very quickly if it was in the UK (possibly by me, even though I no longer really play long scales)
