TheSwing Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 (edited) PRICE DROPPED TO £600... The SVT-7PRO delivers a full kilowatt of ferocious sound into a 4-ohm load at just 15.5 pounds, thanks to its Class D power amp and switch-mode power supply. This one is a Revision C, so avoids the power issues of previous versions: I’ve had no issues with the amp cutting out etc. Ampeg packs the SVT-7PRO with extensive tone shaping: in addition to the classic 5-position Midrange control, which allows you to dial in the centre frequency of the peaking midrange filter, there are shelving bass and treble filters and Ultra-Hi and Ultra-Lo boost switches to beef up the extreme ends of the frequency spectrum. The SVT-7PRO delivers signature fat and warm Ampeg Sound, plus the precise transient response and clarity that a Class D power amp affords. It may not weigh much, but 1,000 watts on tap means it can drive any cabinet you desire. 1,000 Watts 4 ohms/600 watts 8 ohms Neutrik® speakON® outputs Onboard compressor w/variable ratio (1:1–10:1) Tube-driven balanced XLR output Stereo Aux input Removable rack ears Switching power supply 15.5 lb (7.03 kg) Now only £600. Collection from East London preferred. May post at buyer cost. Edited November 5, 2024 by TheSwing SOLD 4
dmccombe7 Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 Great amps, my goto amp at the moment. Does what it says it will. Ampeg tone and loud. Never let me down in the 12mths i've owned it and i've done a fair amount of gigs with both Glam and punk bands. GLWTS sale. Dave 2

scrumpymike Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 These are brilliant! Absolutely love mine and it won the amp shoot-out at last year's S-W Bass Bash. 1
TheSwing Posted October 11, 2024 Author Posted October 11, 2024 Thanks – I didn't know that! Much appreciated.
