Ashdown MAG250 Bass Head

 

One of the originals. Made in England in 2003

 

250W RMS @ 4ohms

5 band EQ. which can be switched in or out.

Very useful switchable ‘Bright’ and ‘Deep’ filters

Plus the signature Sub-harmonic  in/out and level control. Nice.

 

Well looked after. We were companions for many pub gigs. Always liked the sound and plenty loud enough.

Not used in anger for many years. Kept as a backup when my head got turned for trendy Class ‘D’ amps!

Still sounds great. 

The case is black  - just looks grey on the photos.

 

I live in Malvern, Worcestershire. Happy to drive to meet up half way up to an hour.

I had one of these back in the day while my Ampeg was being repaired, I remember it sounding great and the DI output was really clear too.
