fretmeister
I'm looking for a JB body. Ideally it would be: Lightweight alder / basswood / paulownia / cedar - whatever! Either no pickup routs or routed for a MM pickup in the trad MM position. No finish is fine as long as it's ready for an oil type treatment I'd be quite happy if the body was slightly undersized too - say 7/8 size or something as long as a normal Jazz neck would fit on it. Any ideas? I'm planning my very first parts bass assembly and I have no idea what I'm doing really. But the plan is for a passive MM style for a relatively simply first try, and because I can't afford the EBMM Joe Dart signature! bremen
Warmoth will rout to your spec and are good quality. They did me a 'dinky P'; a Precision type body with a bit extra wood taken out to make it lighter, while still balancing like a full size P. Fender neck fitted the pocket perfectly.
