Piers_Williamson
Had the beer got into your camera Jack? Has someone lefty just randomly asked for their maker's transfers be put on upside down, or was it a luthier's vengeance?
Piers_Williamson
I think I just figured out how to do this...

I reckon the guy knew exactly what he was doing. I had a beer with him in the Green Room and he has a wicked sense of humour.
Happy Jack
Incidentally, the headstock logo on two of those guitars tags back to https://southpawguitars.com/ They're sure as hell not cheap, but they do lefty basses too.
LeftyJ
Fender did this on their 1990s USA Hendrix Tribute Strat. Which is a pretty faithful 1968 lefty Strat replica, with the upper strap button on the wrong side so righties can pretend to be Jimi. Of course, Fender being Fender, ironically there was no ACTUAL lefty 1968 Strat reissue available for actual lefties at the time

I have, but the picture I posted is very much real, and not mirrorred It's a 1997 Fender Jimi Hendrix Tribute Strat and it is genuinely a lefty guitar for righties. The rear of the headstock is normal, except for the upside-down serial number. Edited July 28 by LeftyJ

police squad
So he learned by flipping a righty over. Same as Mr Lee Pomeroy, Eddie Wheeler from Vanity Fair too
Hellzero
And Jimmy Haslip who simply took a righty (sixer) bass and played it as a lefty with everything reversed.

I think we're talking about "Croydon's own": Feline Guitars' lefty series called Southpaw: https://felineguitars.com/pages/southpaw-felines-left-handed-guitars Some of those have that logo and those mirrored decals.
