I'm thinking about having something made and wanted to look at something other than Warmoth given that I could probably buy a second hand USA Fender Jazz for the landed cost of a body on its own.

I've come across White Stork Guitars who are based in Spain and the prices look really decent. Granted I'll have to pay VAT but it would still work out at a fraction of the cost of Warmoth.

Trouble is that I can't find much online about them - does anyone here have any experience of the quality of their bodies & necks?

I've priced up a P bass body in olympic white, routed for 2 EMG35 pickups and it's coming in at £267 delivered + VAT of £53.20 = £320.40 delivered.

Hi Julien

I couldn't find enough reviews regarding the quality so decided not to risk it for the moment.

That would be good to see - did you go for a regular or relic finish?

If I was going for a relic then i would have ordered without question but I like my basses to be shiny and have all of their finish still intact.

Just spotted this thread (I don’t lurk about the accessories sub-forum very often) and @Delberthot, if you are still in the market for a custom body, i can recommend James and the crew over at Guitar and Bass Builds UK

I bought a 5 string Precision PJ bass body finished in clear from them a while ago and I’m very happy with the result.
