missis sumner
Found on ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/126601414522?itmmeta=01J496460Z968AEFTWMG21RPWN&hash=item1d7a08477a:g:RM0AAOSwbvVmoAkv&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAAwC0VRYaexnI4g%2BQLGQs5kFfTOIdd65ZAewn312WAJ1%2FmJCSqsd2d2HNbg%2BBPMmojZDsUArHfDEbE8jgT8z4ZRcNLcxj5C7CUmktqzowOvNOR37ZCn0UtJk8Vaba3LyrtsLlIiuxoTAjQiTIDqwmtN%2BEvCpj7MYW3JAMVBbzdzt11Gsl%2B49c%2Bs5rEsWCCtOkEJnht1ZBDo9dXME%2BXjfvr1Ojk%2FNXnmxFSub8ZOZE7NoX6Pd%2FpRPQg4AGdn7LGeJ3yhQ%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR8jgkKaiZA&edge=1 Google reverse image search is turning up nothing of use. I vaguely recall seeing a similar headstock/logo before, but I can't place it. Can anyone help? Edit: Ok, own up - who bought it? lol Edited August 2 by missis sumner 1
alyctes
That's a rather odd beast. Aluminium nut, by the look of it. A screw in the middle of the headstock, presumably for a string tree? I'd guess that truss rod access is via the aluminium plate at the bridge end of the neck, but not clear. The body seems to be a refin, if the unrepaired scars under the paint are anything to go by, which makes me wonder if it's a home-carved headstock. Delberthot
I was wondering if the seller was a Basschatter going by the last line of the speil: "you are welcome to arrange courier collection at your own cost and risk" This seems to be a phrase that is present in most for sale posts on the forum these days but I'd never heard it used outside of the forum until now.
