Hello folks.  Might be getting an old bass back that will need new hardware, so I thought about doing a headless conversion.  Spotted this on Amazon;

Under £50 and doesn’t say “Overlord of Music” on it.  Anyone tried one?

Yep, it looks like a copy of the original Leduc designed Logabass made by Sanox...

If it's as good as the original, it will work flawlessly.

Also check the original Kubicki headless bass bridge as it's quite similar too especially the way it works, but came later.

I’ve been tempted, but ended up going for a set by @Andre_Passini.  I did find a comparison of what I think is the same system you posted. I believe ALP designed it. I was concerned about the little key it uses.

The little key is held onto the side of the bridge by a magnet. I've got the same system on a Jamstik Studio MIDI guitar.

I've also been looking at headless bass bridges for a 5-string and I'm drawn to the ALP one as it's a one-piece and the thought of getting 10 mounting holes for individual bridge units in the right places fills me with dread. The string spacing on the 5-string version is 16mm and as that happens to be the same as the spacing on one of my favourite basses, that would do fine.
