Leo2134786 Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 I'm thinking of getting a Pedaltrain Metro 20 to organise my pedals. If possible could you use https://pedalplayground.com/ to lay it out? The pedals are: Polytune 3 Mini, into a BOSS LMB-3 Limiter/Enhancer, into a BOSS OC-5 Octave, into a Behringer BDI21 Driver, into a Bass Big Muff Pi, into a EHX Nano Q-Tron Envelope Filter, into a BOSS GEB-7 Bass Equaliser. If the pedals don't fit could you recommend a bigger pedalboard? Thank you so much to anyone who replies! Quote
prowla Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Does the Pedaltrain site still have their layout tool? Quote
pineweasel Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 This is it https://pedalboardplanner.com Quite handy. You need to remember to leave space for cables though. Quote
LukeFRC Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 the rockbound one is pretty good as it takes cables into account I think 1 Quote
ordep Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 (edited) I suggest that you use the EBS/Rockboard/Harley Benton/etc flat type patch cables. if its me I will probably squeeze all of them in a Metro16, only because I hate unused pedalboard space 😁. Edited August 6, 2024 by ordep 1 Quote
ordep Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 (edited) Metro 16. the polytune and the 2 Boss pedals on the top doesn’t get stepped on as much as the bottom 4 I presume. Edited August 6, 2024 by ordep 3 Quote
fretmeister Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 (edited) Sideways pedals are wrong. a classic junior would do it and leave room for another. Lot of options to fit a power supply underneath too. However - you do not have to have on the board in the same order as the signal chain. So if the BDDI and the LMB3 are always on you can put them on the top row with the tuner leaving the ones you do have to switch a lot on the bottom. You just need longer patch cables to keep the same signal path. Edited August 7, 2024 by fretmeister 2 Quote
