Lean audio - Zoot

Anyone heard of zoot bass cabs? I am familiar with the name as a UK bass builder but not as a builder of cabs, they are being sold by a company called Lean Audio?

Hi mate they are made here in my home town of witham, essex, by a guy named Mike Walsh. He also builds Zoot basses.

Lean Audio is 5mins down the road from me, I think they're a main distributor for celestion also. Once brought some guitar speakers from him, went to collect, and its run from the blokes garage, seemed genuine enough though.

I seem to remember when Zoot were building a range of 12"-based cabs a while back - seemed to have a great spec for the money. I was in the market for Aguilar 12's at the time and compared the two, they seemed pretty competitive. That was a while ago now though!

OK, so it is the same people as zoot basses!

Just curious, I'm an EBS man, but these looked like a valid option for someone looking for a lightweight cab

I own a Zoot 2x12 that I run my Markbass head through.They are light and powerful.In fact IMHO it is the ultimate rig!Buy one if you can.
