They're a bit different from your usual widdle-meisters because they have a definite sense of fun and put on a bit of a show... And besides, who needs melody? That's for boy bands 1
chris_b
There is an audience for this music, as there is for Jazz and Classical. No one's looking happy on a Royal Philharmonic gig. There was never much of a stage show on a Miles Davis gig. Maybe we should be looking at CB and his genre in the same way, instead of lumbering him with unrealistic expectations.

Burns-bass
He’s no longer the worlds best bedroom bassist, he’s off on a global tour with a funny name. https://www.academymusicgroup.com/o2academyislington/events/1486781/bernth-tickets Not my thing but good luck to him. He seems like a lovely guy, good sense of humour and all that. 2

All three of these guys are fantastic musicians, and they will also be doing a song or two together. Gutted I won't be in the country to see it. CB is probably the more technically proficient but man DS getting those parts and tones out of a Ric won it for me 🙏

Bernth was the guitarist for Austrian black metal band Belphegor, and Ola Englund has been in a bunch of bands over the years, including Six Feet Under and Scarpoint, and currently plays with The Haunted. He also has his own band, Feared. I think my point is that, right now, they’re most known for being YouTubers rather than gigging musicians, and it’s good to remind people that they do a lot more than ar$e about in front of a camera.
