BassAdder60
This arrived over the weekend and I thought I would offer my thoughts. Quality build and feel, probably the best in any amp I’ve owned. Size / Weight is ideal as not too large so will fit small and large width cabs and heavy enough not to easily move on your cab. Features: wow they have thought of everything you are going to need Superb EQ adjustments HPF adjustable Power Amp Damping control ( from tight and modern to loose and full valve amp feel Ability to run at 2ohms Quiet Fan Powerful and Loud Plus more ! Ive had so many amps in the last five years and I always felt they were good and acceptable but had something missing. My best sounding amps have been SVT CL and V4B but way too heavy and large now. The WD800 has a valve pre amp, power amp can feel like a valve amp when playing and the ability to drive the input to get a bit of valve breakup is awesome. This and my EICH T900 and hopefully my forever amps until the itch for change comes which hopefully is never !!
Lozz196
Looks great, excellent eq options with the parametric eq. 1
fretmeister
I love that there is so much crossover available in the mids.
stevie
What a great feature set on that amp. I particularly like the adjustable highpass filter, which I don't think anyone else does. My current favourite amp is one of @BassAdder60's cast-offs, the Trace Elliot TE1200. If the Mesa is better than that, it must be amazing. 1
BillyBass
Congrats mate. Knob twiddlers delight that is. Can you get close to the Ampeg sound you like with all those EQ options?
moley6knipe
Yeah that’s nice. I’d love a Mesa one day: I think they’re brilliant sounding things. Addition of HPF is great. If you can’t EQ the sound with that selection of knobs then there’s no pleasing you etc.

It really does it all and all of it very well
Sparky Mark
Great amp. Do you have to pull or press one of the knobs to bypass the parametric EQ?
BassAdder60
use a footswitch or leave them all flat if preferred but there isn’t a button to turn off Edited August 20 by BassAdder60
