Fretless 50s P Bass / Telecaster Bass neck 34" Maple

 

Bought used for a project, but won't be needing it now as bought a new bass. 

 

-Interesting inlays, I think these necks are from ebay originally. 

-42mm nut , please see photos for other dimensions.

-18mm tuning holes, has multiple tuner screw holes on rear (would be covered up by a larger body tuner). 

-Rear of neck has been sanded back for a used finish. 

-Couple of dings and scrapes ( one by G string tuner on headstock face)  but not too bad condition overall see pics 

-Looks like maple on maple, probably 34" scale. 

 

Has some Fe**r decals, but this is NOT a Fe**r neck

What's that long crack along the full length of the neck? Is it serious? 😁

Did you play it?  If so, was the decoration a distraction?

No, never played it. 😀

Bought as I wanted a cheap fretless neck to try, but bought a different bass instead. 

Somebody got creative with the inlays....
