juice
Having been stuck at home for many years due to spinal injury and operations I am pleased to be playing bass again. Am venturing out of home for the first time for 1000lights charity event with 999 other musicians at Birmingham arena this Sunday. am looking forward to playing live again and hoping this is the start of good things….. photo is the space at home I have spent too long in (and too much money on) Hope to be more active on this great forum from now on also!

juice
@msb @Jackopie1 it is great to have a playroom as a grown up & also easier to smuggle new purchases in as seperate from the house 😉 🤫 1
msb
Thankfully Herself looks upon most basses as art objects. No problems bringing a new bass home. And most amps are not that big , but she’s not crazy about any more cabinets showing up. She doesn’t understand the appeal of a black box. Although she does refer to my Bergantinos as Lamborghinis.
Richard R
Welcome aboard! Was this the 1000 lights event you were at? https://ampedmagazine.co.uk/2024/08/20/what-went-down-1000-lights-by-uprawr-mental-health-foundation-review/ I'm not really a fan of LP, but that does sound like a pretty amazing night to be part of. Marc S
Hello & welcome to BC. Sorry to hear of your health issues. Glad to hear you're now getting out & about, and playing / gigging. I must admit, I'd go stir crazy if I had to cease gigging - I really enjoy it. That's some studio you have there. Lots of instruments too. I thought I was bad! Lol. Hope you're enjoying your playing, and that you continue to do so 😀
