DaveP Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 Hi folks I used to play electric 6 strings as a teenager and kept dipping in and out as I got older. Sometimes I'd see a musician who could really play and found it a little off-putting. Now I look at is 'what am I like today'? Never really thought about the bass until in a pub one night I was watching a fairly good band and saw that the bassist was plucking with only one finger! Can't be that hard then, can it? So I've bought a Dean Explorer, a Fender Rumble 75 and I'm having a great time. Back in the 80's, before YouTube, learning and playing was more difficult. Today there are a million bass covers on YouTube! So yeah, living my best life. See you on the boards. 1 Quote
