Seeking Stingray Musicman 1987 serial number: 25526

Good morning,

I'm looking for a 1987 ErnieBall MusicMan StringRay Bass, made in the USA, in black. The production date is June 22, 1987 (Serial number: 25526). I know she is in Germany. I know I'm throwing a bottle into the sea, but you never know, the only information I have is that it is in Germany. In fact, this bass has sentimental value because its production date corresponds exactly to my birth date, which is why I'm looking for it. Did you own this before or just want it because it was made on your date of birth?

 

Either is absolutely fine. I’m just intrigued. I’d not consider the whole idea of buying something because of production date until I heard the YOB bass thing. Still don’t get that either, but we’re all unique.

That looks like a Cutlass - but looks to have a wood fingerboard. Don't think I've ever seen a painted neck on a Stingray (aside from SUBs).
