m3nutter
Thoughts appreciated . I have a CS 60s jazz with a boomy e string , no matter what. It has east retro pre amp which I love, 40-95 DR hi beams and the foam cut under the neck pu so that the e is further away from the string still have the problem. the 60s j bass pick ups do not have raised poles on the middle two things despite the 7.5 radius board and the lower e and g string. does anyone else struggle with this on a jazz ? Could of be a bad string ? any ideas welcome? cheers nick
Lozz196
I have to set the pickups under the E string considerably lower to stop it booming, on Jazzes it’s virtually even with the scratchplate (am talking neck pickup here).
m3nutter
Ok thanks Lozz I will cut the foam under it and get it lower on that side 👍
