Good morning 'Chatters!

I have been kindly gifted a dead BBE BMAX-T for the benefit of schematic study and to reignite my love for electronics that has been somewhat dormant for years. However, I was sure that I did have copies of the various revisions of BMAX-T schematic diagrams to aid me. It appears that I don't anymore and BBE's email addresses just bounce and there doesn't apear to be any way of contacting a service centre.. better still, WHO to contact!

So, asking my fellow electronics nerds: Does anyone have any schematic diagrams for the BBE Max-T? I'd even take diagrams of the solid state version as well, because that's all interesting stuff to me.

Thank you in advance!

Wish people would gift me things like that!

"Dead" would suggest PSU issue? Or lights on but nobody home?

I've not had time to open it up yet as I have been catching up with a whole pile of magazine video reviews I am editing up. Some pretty nice pieces of kit to show off! When I do get time I'll start isolating sections and testing - I've not checked for any signs of life yet.

It's a weird one when you look at internal pics. A HUGE PCB with each circuit section clustered together. Only single sided though which makes it slightly more tricky to isolate sections from each other...

Yeah, there's a few things I know about the topology already - the valve preamp' isnt anything unusual and the BBE circuit is well documented on the interwebs too. But yeah, I agree, if it turn out not to be obvious PSU issue related, I'll have the board out. It's just time I need that would be saved with a schematic.
