dub_junkie
Picked up a new Graft 5 in the Frostbite finish today directly from Alan at ACG HQ. Absolutely loved it from the moment I pulled it out the very nice gig bag. Acoustically felt and played just right and plugged in I was taken aback at the wide spread of tones from a passive bass. Bridge pickup can honk with the best of them and it does the hollow two pickup slap tone supremely well too. Can't wait to start using it with the band! Also had a look at some Retro B Standards with coloured figured tops and East preamps. They were superb and something I will be investigating further. Picking up a used Krell 4 string turned me onto the brand. Glad it did 😍 Edited August 26 by dub_junkie Pic

Merton
Lovely bass, and definitely a brand to get hooked on. I’ve just commissioned ACG number 7 😀
Grooverjr
Lovely finish, indeed. The tonal range of a passive ACG is something special.

Stuart1982
ACG basses are outstanding instruments. Alan’s work is always stellar. I’m lucky enough to have several ACG basses fretted and fretless and they are all a joy to play. Happy new ACG day 😀
MJJS
Given this forum is the main one other than sales. An ACG thread would be justified.

BillyBass
That looks pretty good: truss rod wheel at the neck, string tree for the middle 3 strings. What is its scale?
dub_junkie
Hi Billy it's a 34" scale length Link to the bass and spec: https://acguitars.co.uk/project/053g-j-type-5-34/ Cheers Keir

Terry M.
There’s currently an identical model on the ACG website that I keep staring at (serial number 046G).I find radiused fretboards on electric bass utterly pointless given that they're not played with bows so it's great to see a builder like Alan offer flat boards in that respect. Thanks Mr Fender 😂 Anyway I'm pleased you're enjoying yours. The fussy man that I am would prefer a natural finish but the blue does look good 👍

skelf
Not too far from being launch in conjunction with the new website. Just a few things to write up and it should be good to go.
Merton
These Standard series basses are going to cause my bank balance even more trouble than ACGs already do I think 😄
