New Orange bass amp?

Looks like it's just the new version of the Ad200 according to their website.

Yeah, new output transformer to support low lows better, bias pots for the tubes and a clean switch for hot signals.

No, why would you want that 🙄 I guess you can stick a DI box on the slave out?

just seems a slightly underwhelming update to me, same size and weight, no DI out, no speakon combo outputs. Think i'll be sticking with the terror bass for now

are the Celestion Pulse XL 1*.17 neodymium?

Doesn't look like it. 4kg for a Pulse 10" speaker versus 1.5 for an equivalent neo one also from Celestion.

I did not found any spec on Celestion website. They list the Pulse XL 1*.20 series that look different.

Ah, I was indeed looking at the Pulse XL 10.20 on the Lean Audio site. Maybe the ".17" code is just for Orange's 32 Ohm speakers? I'd assume you wouldn't mix up the ranges to include both neo and ferrite in the one range. The backs of the neo speakers tend to have the fins on them as opposed to the big back you can see in the annnouncement video too.

 

Considering the 71.6kg weight of the 810, that also supports the ferrite theory.
