NikNik Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Definitely a nod To the Ned Callan 'Custom' model, albeit with a mini-hum at the rear. Would like to see a Cody version. Vintage REVO Callan Quote
tauzero Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Did the Custom not have the nobbly top horn then? Quote
ash Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 I bought this as I always liked the Ned Callan/Peter Cook Custom bass - the twin cutaway reminded me of the early Gibson EBO Les Paul Jnr shape. The Revo is well put together especially for the money. It has a nice neck and played well unfortunately however it was heavy for a shortscale at 4.3kgs. The thick slab body also made it difficult for me to find a comfortable playing position. Definitely try one if you can as it may be perfect for you however I returned mine. 2 Quote

oldslapper Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 The link just takes me to an eBay search list of basses. Do I need to scroll to find the Revo? Cheers Quote
