Rayman Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 I worked on one for a mate once. It was in pretty poor shape, but we got it up and running, and continued to use it for a while before moving it on. I wasn’t a massive fan of it tbh, but they’re pretty collectible now. Quote
BigRedX Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Nice to see one in a colour other than sh!t brown. 1 3 Quote
Schnozzalee Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 I've owned one - Great basses but the neck dive is strong, so you need a big suede strap to counteract it. Quote
Bassassin Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Always sort of liked the look of these, never played one though, never mind owned one. When I lived in Kent in the 80s there was one (fretless & sh!t brown) in constant rotation in the local shop (Frenchy's in Duncan Street, Gillin'am) - I think I was probably the only regular punter who didn't own it for a fortnight before trading it back in. Jackroadkill Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Who did that to that 1950's LP Special, that's what I want to know. Bloody philistines! 1 Quote
