Thanks for all the comments made on my thread, “practice amp”

having considered the points raised I find that there are several amps that might suit my aims and budget.

one alternative would be a Hartke HD 25, new from Bax at £120, Blackstar Unity 30, used around £120, Fender Rumble 25, used £75, Ampeg BA-110 35w, used £100.

They're all much of a muchness. The design goal for all will be in identical - make a small, low powered, low cost practice amp. Try them and see which you prefer.
