Not sure if this has been posted already, but has anyone tried one of these out yet? I've seen a couple of videos on YT from Japanese websites demoing them, where they seem to have been available from a couple of months ago. Not sure if I really like the PJ on the offset Jazz body but remaining open minded.

I'm in the market for a new bass and have been considering a few models, either one of these, an American Performer precision or a MIJ jazz International series. In no hurry to buy but just interested in anyone's experiences/opinions.

Not a PJ fan, but does the typical Fender PJ problem exist with the Japanese J pickups?

Other than that, they do have a traditional P bass, although I have to wonder about their name choice.

Yeah, not really getting the "Hybrid" bit with the Precision. I assumed it would mean it has a Jazz-width neck, but on their website they specify a 42 mm nut width.

I think in an older Andertons' video where they demoed the V1 Hyrids, they said it referred to vintage looks with modern features (sustain block under the bridge but not sure what else from memory). Still interested to hear a good quality recording of the new Jazz PJ.
