The only reason it isn't more popular is that it isn't great to look at, so is primarily used under solid finishes. Best Precision I've ever had and the reason my Elite Jazz will be going up for sale. Light, fast and sounds wonderful however mine came with post factory DIMarzio DP122 fitted.
