The Last Bass Outpost - down? Gone?

There's probably a handful of members here dip into The Last Bass Outpost once in a while.  Seems like the site is in trouble or it's the end.  Database errors for the last few days.

 

Anyone know what's happening?

Always good to hear about a hitherto unknown bass forum the day it goes under

It wasn't huge by any stretch; dedicated Gibson/Fender/Rickenbacker, plus the usual areas.

 

There were a few regulars; the guy that came up with the Badbird bridge for old Thunderbirds, a German guy that had a phenomenal amount of Gibson basses

Definitely a small group. Basically a portion of people that spun off from The Dude Pit community when drama killed that forum.
 

I haven't been active at the Outpost in years but I still would check it and I noticed a couple weeks ago it went down, around Aug. 21st. Did some searching on TB and someone there said that Dave W, the main admin, was on it but it must be a complicated issue since that was said on the 23rd.

 

If it comes back, a lot of the regulars that remain are pretty cool including Uwe, that German guy with an staggering number of Gibson basses.

Just going to quickly follow up to this to say that it's back online as of a couple days ago.
