waynepunkdude
I went to a guitar shop yesterday and it had one of these Stagg stacks. Wanted £300 for the head and £250 for each of the cabs, I didn't try it but I was a little confussed on why they have put pictures of guitars on them. Are they any good? I'm guess they aren't worth second hand Ampeg money but I could be wrong. Edited May 24, 2009 by waynepunkdude
Delberthot
I'm guessing they're so cheaply made that they would melt at 4 ohms hence the 8 ohm minimum and 16 ohm cabs to get that 8ohm load? They look well enough made but I've no idea how they'll sound.
JanSpeeltBas
If they're as bad as Stagg guitars & basses then stay clear...no good!

It looked cheap, it also looked as if they had made the head bigger so it looked like a valve amp. There is a 'MP3 in' socket on it, is that really what you want with a full rig? I guess my point is Stagg have tried to make a cheap starter rig and they have failed.
Kongo
I'm not sure...I'd be a bit standoffish...You could buy the very Laney model I started with for less than that and have a decent powered head and cab for that.
