Legacy strings / Strings Direct

Anyone tried these Legacy strings ?

As I have a few ' part time ' basses and a tight budget at the moment I can't afford to string all my basses with DR's. I am aware that these will not be as good as DR's

I only use flatties on my basses & favour TI JF324s so haven't tried the Legacy Bass strings, but I can confirm that Legacy electric & acoustic guitar stings are very good for the money and when I get through the ones I have I'll probably buy some more.

i bought some and they're actually ok. I'm not much of a string conniseur but they seem as good as Rotosounds. Mine didnt have the fabric bits covering the string ends bu apart from that... ok

I use em a LOT and totally recommend em. They are excellent for the money and seem to last longer than rotos. Downside is they seem to be about two feet too long!!
