lscolman Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 (edited) Looking to find a new owner for my Dolphin Pro II. I've owned this since new, and it is a lovely instrument. I'm collecting my Kingbass next week, and so need to make room in the collection. I'll be sorry to see it go. Built in 1991 in Black. Great quality sound and hardware is in A1 condition. A laquer ding near the jack socket and near the neck, and some scratches near the controls on the edge of the guitar are the only signs of use. Re-strung recently with Rotosounds, and I'm including a set of Trace Elliot Roundwound 40-100. Original warwick cleaning cloth and gig back are included. Also included is a review of the bass which came out very favourably. Including the strap and strap locks too. I'm on my travels next week (1st to 3rd June), driving between Newcastle and Exeter and back, so may be able to deliver. I'll be in London this coming Tues-Thurs, and won't have internet access, so won't be able to reply on those days. I'm after £600. Cheers, Lee Edited March 17, 2010 by lscolman

MB1 Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 MB1. Hello Lee! ..... An.... "If Dolphins were Monkeys"....type BUMP!
sshorepunk Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 I had one of these, back in the day! Was finished in good old "Ford Escort Blue" now owned by a good friend of mine. Not made in the Warwick factory, warwicks very first attempt at getting stuff made elsewhere, the result in this case is a slimmer profile neck (bolt on if i recall) than is usual for Warwicks, also maple with Wenge(?) fretboard. Nice basses! T
4000 Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 I had one of these; my mate has it now, it's his main bass and sounds bloody great. The neck is mega slim. FWIW I had 2 Dolphin thru-necks and they weren't really any better, just a bit different (and with much bigger necks).
Eight Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Damn. I thought all my GAS had been cured by buying a cab... Wonder where I can lay my hands on £700.
