Chienmortbb
A nice little package sped it's way from middle earth, well Derbyshire> My latest two packs of Newtone strings arrived this morning. Sorry no pics as my phone is flat but they are Platinum Round core 40-100s. Feel better under the finger than any I have ever used except the old Picato Groundwounds from Treorchy.
Rodders
Next on my list is to try a set of Platinum Newtone's. Ordered a set of the Diamond multiscale set for my Dingwall and was impressed with them.
naxos10
The Platinum are really nice strings, I use the 50-110's on my shortscale basses.

According to Neil they are a bit brighter and longer lasting than the Platinum but with slightly more finger noise. The Platinums on my Sire M2 are yonks old and sound like flats but play like rounds 😀
jonnybass
I love my Newtone platinum strings, all round core nickel plated, on my 4 and 5 string basses. They sound and feel great. Jonny
