Cheers I think there is a place down Andover way that does veneers but at what thickness I’m not sure of ie as in a thicker top for a bass or thinner veneer like on furniture…….. Just had a quick search and couldn’t find the Aldershot place ..’Reliance’ up in London……or David Dyke/Luthier Supplies in East Sussex. Edited September 12, 2024 by mybass Quote
Buddster Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 I've used this place before for a veneering project. They were excellent. https://www.thewoodveneerhub.co.uk 1 Quote
BassTool Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 I used these for the headstock of my BlazerRay conversion: https://www.griffithsandhood.com/ Quote
Andyjr1515 Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 I've had some splendid veneers from https://designholz.com/en/veneer/?p=1 over the years. Service has always been excellent too, including shipping from Germany. Quote
Richard R Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 (edited) Oak Endgrain veneers - who knew that was a thing? Those could look very cool on the body of a fretless with a bridge piezo pickup, and black strings. Edited September 18, 2024 by Richard R I have no idea how I managed to make the quote appear in the post below 1 Quote
