Chienmortbb
I just bought another bass on a whim. The Ari Pro 2 FB. I am told it was made around 1990 but there is nothing on the bass to inicate where or when it was made. The fretboard seems to be varnished or epoxied, was this as made or done by an earlier owner? Sny other info or directions to Aria fan sites? Pictures will follow. Edited September 13 by Chienmortbb
hooky_lowdown
Made in korea, ply body. Aria were made in Japan (matsumoko) till 1987. Korea and recently china thereafter.
Skybone
There used to be an excellent forum for Matsumoku built guitars which had tons of catalogue scans, but unfortunately, I can't remember the site address.
Bassassin
Not a model I'm familiar with, quick Google shows a pointyhead PJ, late 80s/90s, probably Korean but definitely not MIJ (so won't be on any Matsumoku site!), looks budget/midrange. Fortunately post-Mats budget/midrange Arias tend to be pretty decent. MIght be more info through the Aria guitars FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/23692974725
