Account Locked

Question

Posted

I had too many failed log in attempts (forgot my password) and now my account is locked. I've updated my password which is working now on one device, but the account is still locked and I'm unable to log in or do anything.

Yes all correct. Even on this device, if I go to the settings area of my account it prompts me for a password, and when I enter it it says my account is locked, despite being logged in.

Timeouts are only for a short while so just wait and they will time out in an hour or so

It's still locked, and I've waited until the next day.

Any advice?

Well, by a day I meant 24 hours, which has occured now, but hadn't at the time of your post. However, I don't see any failed in logins, and you are here posting, so are you sure the username is correct on the other device?

Is your browser blocking pop ups which prevent you from completing the two factor authentication process?

Not to my knowledge but I will double check. That was on my phone, for what it's worth.

I have, however, just successfully logged in from another device (my laptop) so perhaps it's resolved. I will keep an eye out for pop-up blockers when I try again on my PC. Cheers.
