Squier JV Precision Bass Neck - *SOLD*
£150
Glasgow

Recommended Posts

I'm in two minds about this; I was going to use this for a build but it requires some work and I'm not entirely sure I can be bothered with doing what needs to be done.

It's a Squier JV Precision neck with maple fingerboard that I picked up a couple of weeks ago. The chap I bought it from had owned it from new but didn't get on with the neck and replaced it with a slimmer one. At one point he had taken the frets out and filled the slots with some sort of wood filler, though he wasn't sure exactly what. It's not the nearest job and the fretboard is unfinished. The truss rod was loosened while it wasn't being used; as far as I can tell it all works as it should.

The nut, string tree, and tuners are original and are all that was included with the neck when I bought it. It could possibly be used as-is, or it could be refretted, or you could do as I had planned and clean out the slots, put a veneer in there and refinish the fretboard and keep it as fretless.

Price is £150 plus shipping, or you can pick it up if you're in the Glasgow area.PXL_20240910_065629176.thumb.jpg.dacea259cd3bf842efb5666e30190d7d.jpg
