Hi everyone, My name is Mikey Reed

I'm a session bass player, 23 years old, Living and working in Liverpool.
I've been playing bass for 12 years now and I've been session playing since I left college in 2004.

Currently I'm playing with an ABBA tribute band called "ABBA Forever" but I've worked with a great number of artists in the past- Freely Moving, Everyday 50, KUBE, BackWater, King Kyack, Natalie Lane the list goes on.

My equipment as is is at the moment:

Yamaha TRB 1006 (6 string) Caramel Brown
Mikey Reed Custom (5 string) Natural wood
Mikey Reed Custom (4 string fretless) white
Fender p bass mex custom (4 string) black/white
Fender p bass (4 string tenor bass) custom shop finish

Ashdown 600w head
Ashdown 4x10 cab
Ashdown 1x15 cab

I also play acoustic guitar, drums and piano.

I'm currently teaching bass guitar as well as session playing.

Welcome aboard - I've already commented on the custom-build thread. I was bound to like your two M.R. basses 'cos I built 'em!
