I rather like the look of it which is why I posted it in hoping to see similar examples. My lipstick is quite happy in my makeup bag alongside my eyeliner, mascara foundation and powder. The two vacant control holes on mine are sealed up on the inside, to keep the cavity clean. Not sure what my tech used to do that, though. I like the way the Maple and Walnut of the thru neck run thru the Bridge Cavity between the mahogany wings. I gave the bare wood edges a little Danish Oil to blend it in. From the front and 10' away don't notice... but i know its special needs...
