Hi everybody.

Here it is! I’ve owned this beauty since March 2021 having bought it from

Basschatter Gilly. He got it from nord1 who had the gorgeous refinish and 

luminlay side dots added. It’s stock ( Made September 2010 HQP 063070 )

apart from that ( Perhaps the chrome knobs with  numbers too ) it’s stock

and does it’s BB powerful pickups versatile monster tone job tremendously

with Vol, Tone , Pickup selector switch. The Tone control pot really has a big

and full range of useful tones, unlike some. 

Nickel-Silver nut , strings through body are  Rotosound RB45 105-45. 

Body refinish was expensive so you’re still getting a good deal and a unique

bass that will be much admired and coveted.

Capturing the precise Mintiness of the body isnt easy it seems but in the

photos below the first one and the last two are the closest to the colour.

 

 

We only live once and I would be selfish to have and to hold ( and play! )

this for any longer. The main reason for selling is that I got a BB614 with

an active passive switch. A pity to lose this stunning finish but I need

to thin the herd too, so watch out for other basses for sale soonish.

Some of the photos are from previous owners. The white pearl guard didnt

do it for me so I had a black one made by Tiny Tone. I’ll include the white one

and a UV light torch I bought to power up the cool Luminlay side dots for 

your dark stage gigs. Hard case shown ( strap not included ).

 

The pickup bobbins had lost their blackness so I’ve used indelible ink

to revitalise them. ( Checked with my guitar tech first ).Lovely dark rosewood board on this.

Well balanced and 10lbs 9oz , 4.8kg using my accurate digital scales for clarity.

With my strap it feels fine.

done superbly and looks even better than the photos. Such a unique and desirable

bass. I won’t be giving it away cheaply. Standard excellent condition price plus

extra  for the privilege of the refinish.
