I am selling this magnificent '65 bass, L series. Making a description of the Jazz Bass seems repetitive and boring to me. You can draw your own conclusions from the photos. I add some details to complete the information.

It weighs about 3,850 kg. It is not exact but it is very approximate.
Everything is original and sounds like a '65 jazz bass should sound. The truss works correctly.
The body has the normal bumps of a 60 year old bass. Very few if you look closely. The paint wear is very moderate.

The truth is that the state of conservation is wonderful.

It has another ding on the neck that is purely cosmetic. It's not noticeable when you're playing and you run your thumb over it.

For this reason and for the normal wear and tear of the instrument, I propose a more interesting price than the '65 jazz basses offered on other platforms or stores.

If you want an authentic bass at a more reasonable price and save money, this is your bass.

Comes with an original vintage Fender logo case.

Thanks Chewie! Yes...it's very very nice. It has a perfect aged finish. A soft touch but an incredible sound. The painting has been wonderfully preserved. Plus it's light...what more could you ask for? A good price, right? Well, it also has it compared to what they usually ask for these basses in this state.

Not sure if it's been clarified before, but the"7" doesn't refer to the date, but the fact it's a Jazz Bass profile neck. Precision was "5" I believe? It doesn't mean that all of the jazz basses produced in March 1965 were made on the 7th, to be clear 😆😬

Ah ok. I did think that the A alone was the indicator. Every day's a school day and makes my intervention even more irrelevant and unwelcome. Apologies.

GLWTS.

No. Your intervention is as valid and interesting as mine or anyone else's. And your bass denotes that it has been used and has come a long and interesting path.... if I could tell everything it has experienced with its owners it would be incredible.
