Hi! According to my – sligthly crappy – bathroom scale the bass weights 5.5 – 5.6 kg. So certainly not a light bass (and certainly not the heaviest Fodera 6 I had…). This bass has a very distinct and massive huge sound. So the mass somehow does its job
The imperial design is very well balanced. So with a good strap also long gigs were no problem.
