Italia Modulo Tipo 1- Quiet A String.

As you may or may not know, the Modulo has 4 lipstick pups mounted paralel with the strings. Obviously the problem lies with the pup under the A string, but I was wondering what that problem might be.

Any advice?

How much quieter is it?

are they the original strings?


have you noticed it with previous sets?


If YES/No, then duff A string. Change 'em.

Considerably. In a live setting you can't here it at all against the guitar and the drums.
