Signature Bass neck - *SOLD* £40 Bath

Got this with a Signature Jazz Body NOS.

 

The body was immaculate but the neck ferrule holes in the headstock were “chewed” where they’d either had machine head ferrules fitted and then roughly removed, or were roughly drilled. However, when I fitted some machineheads they were covered. There is a mark on the top of the headstock as pictured and a blemish in the finish at the top of the headstock face. 
Don't know much about these, but it’s a decent enough neck but a little slim for my liking so I’ve fitted a chunky wide P neck to the body and it’s perfect for my needs. 
Nice Rosewood board. Truss turns both ways. 
The line on the heel end isn’t a crack, it looks more like an ink line or stain. 
It has a micro tilt plate on the heel (the body has the corresponding grub screw). 
My feeling is that perhaps the neck didn’t pass QC with the headstock finish? 
Anyway £40 posted seems reasonable.
